HonestFitThese Terms are effective as of April 29, 2026 and govern use of HonestFit, Inc. services at honestfit.ai.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of honestfit.ai and the HonestFit services provided by HonestFit, Inc. By accessing or using the site or service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use HonestFit. These Terms are launch-provisional and should be reviewed by legal counsel, but they are intended to describe the service and user responsibilities accurately as of the effective date above.
You must be at least 18 years old to use HonestFit. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.
HonestFit currently uses magic-link email sign-in rather than password accounts. You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account you use to access HonestFit and for all activity that occurs through links, sessions, or account access associated with that email address.
You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify us promptly if you believe your account or email access has been compromised.
HonestFit is a voice-first, candidate-first career profile platform. The service may let you build a structured career profile, enter text and stories, use voice capture and transcription, import or paste documents, generate or export resumes, analyze role fit against job descriptions, manage public profile settings, and optionally publish a public-safe profile.
HonestFit may also provide partner or public API surfaces that expose only public-safe, candidate-controlled data when the relevant profile or access settings permit it.
HonestFit provides informational and drafting tools. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, hiring outcomes, recruiter acceptance, applicant tracking system results, resume accuracy, role-fit correctness, or any professional result.
You remain responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and deciding whether to use any profile, resume, fit analysis, public profile, export, or other output from the service.
HonestFit may use AI and model providers to help generate profile language, resume drafts, role-fit analysis, summaries, classifications, or other outputs. AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your intended use.
You are responsible for the claims you publish, export, submit to employers, share publicly, or otherwise use. You should not rely on HonestFit as the sole source of truth for your work history, qualifications, legal obligations, hiring materials, or career decisions.
You retain ownership of career history, stories, documents, voice inputs, transcripts, job descriptions, profile information, feedback, and other content you submit to HonestFit, subject to any rights owned by others.
You grant HonestFit a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, copy, process, display, transform, transmit, and create outputs from your content solely as needed to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and support the service and related features you choose to use.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law, infringe third-party rights, or include confidential information you are not authorized to provide.
Public profiles are default-off and controlled by you. If you enable a public profile or public sharing feature, the information you choose to publish may be viewed, copied, shared, indexed by search engines, or accessed by people or systems outside HonestFit.
Do not publish private information, sensitive personal information, third-party confidential information, or content you do not want others to see. Turning off a public profile may stop future public access through HonestFit, but it may not remove copies, caches, shares, or search results controlled by third parties.
Some features may require a paid subscription or paid plan. Stripe processes payments and checkout flows for HonestFit. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
Subscription pricing, renewal terms, cancellation controls, and plan limits are shown in the app or checkout flow. Unless a refund is required by law or expressly stated by HonestFit, subscription fees are not guaranteed to be refundable. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal but does not automatically refund prior charges.
HonestFit relies on third-party service providers for functions such as hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, security, traffic routing, analytics or telemetry, and AI/model processing. These providers may process information as needed to provide their services to HonestFit.
Examples include Stripe for billing, Resend for transactional email and magic links, Cloudflare in front of the site, hosting and infrastructure providers, and AI/model providers used to generate service outputs.
If you send feedback, suggestions, ideas, or bug reports, you grant HonestFit permission to use them without restriction or compensation. Please do not send information you consider confidential through feedback channels unless we have separately agreed in writing.
We may suspend or terminate access to HonestFit, remove content, limit features, or refuse service if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, failed to pay required fees, or used the service in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm.
You may stop using HonestFit at any time and may request account deletion by contacting us. Some information may remain in backups, logs, billing records, legal records, or other retained systems as described in the Privacy Policy or as required by law.
HonestFit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HonestFit, Inc. disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, security, accuracy, and reliability.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, or free from harmful components, or that any output will satisfy an employer, recruiter, hiring system, professional standard, or legal requirement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HonestFit, Inc. and its officers, employees, agents, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, business interruption, or costs of substitute services arising from or related to your use of HonestFit.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HonestFit, Inc.'s total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to HonestFit for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or fifty U.S. dollars.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HonestFit, Inc. and its officers, employees, agents, service providers, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.
HonestFit respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on HonestFit infringes your copyright or other rights, contact us at [email protected] with enough detail for us to identify the material, understand your claim, contact you, and evaluate the request.
HonestFit, the HonestFit name, the site, software, design, and service content are owned by HonestFit, Inc. or its licensors, except for user content and third-party materials. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
We may change the service or these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice by posting an updated version on the site, sending email to the address associated with your account, or using another reasonable method.
Your continued use of HonestFit after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.
Before either party files a formal claim, you and HonestFit agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting [email protected] and describing the issue in reasonable detail. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may bring an individual claim in a state or federal court located in Nevada, unless applicable law requires another forum.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
